Large Garden Room

We are please to announce that we have recently completed a large 8m x 4m garden room with sidewalls and rear clad in composite cladding. The front wall we faced in Larch to create an attractive rain screen.

The roof was designed, engineered and built to be a ‘living’ green roof.

Internally, we created a kitchen area, plus storage room leading to a bathroom and shower room. The custom built storage units were fitted with rattan panels to doors.

All internal finishes in eco friendly paint due to allergies within the family.

Oak & Glass Stairs

As part of major works, we have recently been commissioned to design and build an oak staircases with glass balustrades. The images show the different projects, each with oak strings and glass clamped in position with an oakĀ outer string. Each is topped with an oak handrail.

Burnt Larch Cladding

Fitted to a new build timber framed house as it gives additional fire protection, and is also resistant to pest infestation.

We needed to pick up the back face of the facer to allow us to finish just over the face of ground floor brickwork. This was done by using adjustable strapping to take all our battens.

One of the many challenges we faced was passing a 6 metre board up with very little room due to the scaffolding, and of course, keeping all the joint lines equal.

Home / Office

To cater to the trend for increased home working, we offer a number of bespoke furniture solutions to maximise efficiency and create a warm environment.

Beechwood – taking centre stage

We always enjoy a varied selection of projects, and this saw us taking centre stage – literally!

As part of a refurbishment project for the Grove Theatre in Dunstable, we spent two weeks stripping out the old stage floor and replacing it with 350 sq M of high-quality birch ply, finished in black.

This West End sized stage now looks amazing.

Growing in the garden

Working with Harpenden based Impala Garden Rooms, we have now created a number of superb office and work spaces that offer year-round performance.

Standard designs, typically around 20 sq M, include large windows and bi-fold doors that allow you to visually connect to the garden space. Each room is finished with a high quality and fully insulated interior that creates a fantastic place for a home-office.
